My first place Remembrance day poem
We wear a poppy To remember those who died at war We wear a poppy To remember those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom, Soldiers marching to the battlefield With sounds of guns, the air is filled The brown earth reddened Where blood is spilled, Upon the battlefield they creep The brave and timid fight like beasts Now in their quiet graves, they sleep they gave us peace Remember them who fought the war Remember them as we remember Remember them for our country Remember them each November, We wear a poppy To remember those who died at war We wear a poppy To remember those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom, |
Perfectly timed photoWe wish you a merry Christmas piano duet |
